What would you do, if time and money were not an issue?
Probably one of the best questions to get to know someone.
Having a possibility to take a short sabbatical between jobs, I've been wandering around this question lately.
Definitely material possessions would be not be among the top ideas. Regular (but not continuous) travelling. Possibility to read tons of novels. Experimenting with filmmaking. Dedicating a chunk of time to volunteering, in particular enviromental and - the most impactful on the future - teaching. With so much time, one could even consider getting one degree after another, in different fields. Similar story for language learning, getting fluent in 4+ languages might be realistic. Not necessarily ditching work: maybe still work part time on a personal startup project?
At the end of the day, I don't think it's important to have the answer ready, but rather to avoid going into "autopilot" mode and keep questioning our inner values and goals.
